The top 20 renewable energy stocks in the market today may not be what you think.

Top 20 Renewable Energy Stocks

While it would be easy to just give you a list of companies that make solar panels and wind turbines, that wouldn’t be a very accurate or comprehensive list.  Indeed, a well-calculated list of the top 20 renewable energy stocks must also include…

  • Transmission and distribution companies that support the transition to renewable energy
  • Companies that produce the materials required to manufacture things like solar panels, wind turbines, and geothermal heat pumps.
  • Companies that make power inverters that enable the output from a solar panel to be fed into an electrical grid.
  • Utility companies that generate revenue by monetizing renewable energy power plants
  • Companies that manufacture “balance of system” components, such as fuses, cables, and switches.

My top 20 renewable energy stocks for 2024

In a moment, I’ll share with you my top 20 renewable energy stocks for 2024, but first, let’s discuss why having some exposure to renewable energy is paramount to the health of your portfolio.

There’s some excellent data on renewable energy growth out there.  Particularly from Bloomberg and risk management firm DNV, which recently released its latest Energy Transition Outlook.  And boy is it a doozy!

According to DNV, in the next 25 years, global electricity demand is set to double.  And most of that demand will come from renewable sources.

Last year, the share of wind and solar in electricity generated was 13%, but by 2040, those two sources will be responsible for 50% of electricity generation, moving rapidly to 70% by 2050.

In 2050, 82% of all electricity will come from renewable sources.  Nuclear will constitute just 6% of electricity generation by 2050.  That leaves just 12% of the world’s electricity coming from fossil sources by 2050, although these changes will play out differently across the world’s regions.  A snapshot of regional power mixes in 2040 illustrates this.  By 2050, all regions are well above the 50% mark for solar and wind in their power mixes, with just North East Eurasia still heavily reliant on fossil-fired generation.

This remarkable expansion and decarbonization of power is driven both by policy and dramatic and ongoing reductions in the costs of wind and solar generation.  The levelized cost of energy (LCOE) for solar generation will halve between now and 2050, making solar the cheapest source of electricity at some USD 21/MWh.  The LCOEs for wind are expected to drop by 44% (onshore), 36% (offshore fixed), and 75% (offshore floating) by 2050.

Now I realize some folks will look at this, dig their heels into the ground, and deny that this transition away from fossil fuels is happening.  And that’s fine.  Don’t get me wrong.  There’s plenty of money to be made in the oil and gas game.  Hell, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t personally taking advantage of that myself.

But again, strictly from the standpoint of robust growth, the data is clear.  The future of electricity generation will be heavily weighted in renewables.  And long-term energy investors would be foolish to ignore that reality, so here’s a list of the top 20 renewable energy stocks for 2024…

You can also make a ton of money from  private solar royalties.

If you’re unfamiliar, private solar royalties are monthly cash dividends you can earn from various solar projects across the globe.

It’s pretty simple, actually.

You see, there’s a special portal where some of the wealthiest investors in the world, such as Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Warren Buffett, can choose from a variety of different solar projects, invest in one or more of them, and then immediately begin earning monthly cash payments.

And these are not trivial payments.

Some of these investments are paying an estimated internal rate of return as high as 16%, but the best part is that these monthly payments are not affected by the public markets because these are not public equities.

They’re private deals, and you earn your monthly payments directly from the company, regardless of whether we’re in a bull market or bear market.  Your payments are locked in, and they can’t lose value if the Dow or Nasdaq tanks.

Make no mistake: There’s never been a better time to invest in solar, and there’s never been a safer way to profit from the rapidly growing solar market than with private solar royalties.  Which is why I put together this short beginner’s guide to private solar royalties.

In it, you’ll learn exactly how private solar royalties work and how much you can make from them — which is a lot.

In fact, there’s one deal that can earn you an estimated $98,325 in royalties on monthly investments of just $100.

Of course, $100 is the minimum investment on these things, but you can certainly go in for more.

Bump that up to $1,000, and you’re looking at an estimated $983,255.

That’s nearly $1 million — just from monthly royalty payments.

It’s pretty much the easiest way I know of to make a fortune in the booming solar market, but I would encourage you to lock in your royalty payments now, as there are only a few of these deals currently available.  Once those close, there’s no telling how long you’ll have to wait for the next one to open up.

In other words, if you want to start earning your own monthly royalty payments today, check out this private solar royalty guide now.

To a new way of life and a new generation of wealth…
