Mexico’s Pemex calls on CGG (NYSE: CGG) for 3D images of Gulf floor

French geophysical services company CGG announced it has been contracted by Mexico’s state-owned petroleum company Pemex for its massive survey of the Gulf of Mexico.

The survey will be part of Pemex’s deepwater exploration initiative called Centauro. The goal is to create the best quality 3D seismic map of hydrocarbon resources in the Gulf of Mexico.
